These are all the things I would like to see in the reboot of SS2. I hope that InSamnity! mode or something like that will be as a feature in the reboot. Being able to dual-wield weapons and fighting gigantic hordes of enemies felt amazing.
SERIOUS SAM 2 ENEMIES MOD
InSamnity!: While I still prefer Renovation for a better experience of the campaign, I can't deny that making the InSamnity! mod as the official part of the Steam release was great. I want to see all the different enemy and weapon descriptions like in the other games, but I also want to hear her talk to Sam. Although, I didn't like how useless they made her. It made her and Sam feel like more of an evil alien fighting duo, which I really enjoyed. Talking NETRICSA: I liked how they gave NETRICSA a voice. Don't get me wrong, I don't want the reboot to be as cartoony and "comedic" as the original, but I also don't want it to be too serious. I especially loved their use during the Kwongo bossfight.Ĭomedy: It's a reboot of SS2, so keep atleast some of the tone the same. They made all the different worlds that had them feel more alive and they could be really helpful not only by providing you with useful items, but also by fighting alongside you. NPCs: I really liked having NPCs in Serious Sam 2.
SERIOUS SAM 2 ENEMIES FULL
It was really cool seeing how once a peaceful planet full of life got turned into a lava-filled wasteland full of Kleer Skeleton variants. Planet Kleer: Without a doubt my most favorite planet from SS2. They were really great on either moving down hordes or killing stronger enemies and I would be really disappointed, If they did not include them in the reboot.

Grenades: Probably the best new feature in SS2 and I really don't get why BFE didn't have them. As for Klawdovic, I found him really useful, especially for flying enemies. Shotguns and Klawdovic: While I'm not really a fan of the Plasma Cannon and Zap Gun, Serious Sam 2 had, IMO, the best shotguns from the entire series, so I hope that the shotguns in the reboot atleast somewhat function like the ones in the original.

Vehicles and turrets: IMO, vehicles and turrets really helped on making the gameplay more varied and not only were they really useful (except for Dino), they could really help save your ass in dire situations. It offers huge levels with hundreds of opponents, funny worlds with various themes, a vivid colour palette, lots of big guns and some of the largest bosses around (including a giant gorilla, bee, skeleton, dragon and robot).

We know that Croteam are rebooting Serious Sam 2, so I just wanted to share some thoughts on what I would like them to keep from the original: Description Serious Sam II is the sequel to Serious Sam is an equally un-serious first-person shooter with everything blown out of proportion.
